Gollum looks like Mr Burns
27 June 2009 in lookilikes
I remember when the Lord of the Ring: The Two Towers was released and my cousins took me to see it.
When I saw Two Towers, I was totally blown away by it, even though I hadn’t seen the first film in the trilogy (The Fellowship of the Ring).
The scale, the story and Gollum… Continue reading…
Carlos Tevez looks like The Hulk
22 June 2009 in lookilikesCarlos Tevez looks like The Hulk.
In my humble opinion Tevez is a much better player than a certain Portugese ‘Super Star’. In his three years in English Football he managed to keep West Ham United in the Premier League single handed, worked his socks off for a great Manchester United team and scored some very important goals. Will Farrell looks like George W. Bush
19 January 2009 in lookilikesOk I know this is slightly cheeky, but I had to put this on for George W Bush’s last day at work. I hope the next guy is better but I remember 1997 when New Labour came to power and the whole of Britain was expecting. Exepecting too much… Lets hope Obama can control expectations.
Will Farrell George W Bush had an interview with Jon Stewart and talked about what he was going to do after leaving office.
Stanley Kubrick lookilikes Salman Rushdie
9 January 2009 in lookilikesStanley Kubrick looks like Salman Rushdie. Kubrick is the director of many great films including 2001 - A space odyssey. I remember my brother raving about this film but every time I tried to watch the film I would fall asleep. However I finally managed to watch it all the way through recently. Even though I didn’t get all of it, it is still a good film.
There was a documentary call Kubrick’s Boxes on More4 about the vast archive that Kubrick left in boxes at Childwick Manor in Hertfordshire, UK. He kept all his research from his film and everything else that interested him.
One interesting thing that came out of the documentary was that Kubrick was planning to do a film on holocaust victims called “Wartime Lies” and had done 3-4 years of reasearch and pre production. However in the time that he was researching for the film, Steven Spielberg managed to research and shoot the whole of Schindler’s List. When Kubrick found out about Shindler’s List he decided to shelf his project.
